Blood filter

Hemo-Nate®

Blood filter for microfiltration of blood, blood products, and other solutions for infusion to neonatal patients. The disposable filter is made of stainless steel and effectively filters out microaggregates and particles that are 18µm and larger. Studies have shown that cellular components in whole blood are not damaged during the filtration process.

With or without SET

Hemo-Nate blood filter is available with SET, article number 4020005, or without SET, article number 4020009. The SET includes the Hemo-Tap connection, syringe, and a Luer sealing sleeve for the syringe.

The Hemo-Tap connection included in the Hemo-Nate SET is used for direct connection to the blood bag without an administration set, after which the desired blood volume is drawn into the accompanying syringe. A Luer sealing cap is also included, which is applied to the syringe after filling to allow sterile transport of the syringe to the patient.
