BT-Cath® is a soft uterine ballon tamponade made of silicone that provides temporary control of postpartum uterine bleeding. The silicone ensures optimal biocompatibility and durability. The easy-to-use tamponade features a catheter that allows blood drainage from the uterus, providing an immediate indication of the tamponade’s effectiveness and hemostasis.
BT-Cath® comes in two versions, with and without EasyFill™. BTC-100 comes without EasyFill™.
The double lumen allows for drainage while simultaneously filling the balloon with saline solution. Two 60 ml syringes are included to enable continuous saline infusion without interruption. A bag spike and a three-way tap are also included.
