This neutral electrode offers increased patient safety through contact monitoring of its adhesion. With Contact Quality Monitoring (CQM), the contact quality is monitored, and the system automatically shuts off if the contact with the patient’s skin is not optimal. This prevents energy concentration and temperature increase, which eliminates the risk of burns under the electrode.

The neutral electrode is designed with an effective conductive layer that distributes the electrosurgical current over a larger surface area, increasing both comfort and safety for the patient. The electrode is compact and square, and the specially developed blue hydrogel has a cooling effect and is extra gentle on the patient’s skin. The electrode is intended for single-use only.
