OptiMicro® Needle Scalpel for Microscopic Surgery
OptiMicro is a sterile needle scalpel designed for microscopic surgery within plastic surgery and various other surgical specialties where precise incisions are required. OptiMicro features an extremely sharp tip made of tungsten, only 40 µm in diameter. The energy is focused at the needle tip, resulting in an exact incision with minimal coagulation necrosis, optimal wound healing, and an excellent cosmetic outcome. The technology ensures minimal impact on sensitive nerves and muscles, as well as minimal smoke production.
Models
Different angles and varying lengths of needle and shaft provide optimal access in tight surgical fields.

Usage
OptiMicro is recommended for 3-10 watt power output and can be used in either Cut, Blend, or Coag modes, depending on the desired level of hemostasis. OptiMicro can also be used for spray or contact coagulation. The needle tip does not burn into the tissue and is easy to keep clean.
Product Reviews
“A clear advantage of OptiMicro is that less tissue sticks to the needle and it produces less smoke. I consider the needle’s diathermy effect and precision to be very good. For certain procedures, I use maximum spray function to achieve the best possible results. Compared to other disposable needles, OptiMicro is very cost-effective. I highly recommend other surgical clinics to use it.”
