The instrument generates heat via high-frequency electricity combined with precisely applied jaw pressure. Using integrated tissue-sensing technology, tissue impedance is measured in real time, and the energy output is automatically adjusted for optimal sealing. This process causes the collagen and elastin in the tissue to fuse, effectively welding the vessel walls together and creating a clear and durable seal – resulting in permanent vessel closure. Cutting can then be performed as required.
